If you are applying for a passport for the first time or want to apply for a passport for your newborn child, please book an appointment in the “First passport” category.

Please read the information on our website thoroughly and bring the completed forms and original documents with you.

An appointment in the category “First passport” must also be booked if you want to register the birth of your child in Germany, or your marriage contracted abroad.

If you already have a German passport and need to apply for a new passport due to expiry or lack of free pages, please book an appointment in the “Passport” category.

Consular affairs

Do you need a signature authentication or certified copies for a German authority? Do you need to apply for a certificate of good conduct or renew your life certificate? Do you want to close your blocked account in Germany? Then please book an appointment in the category “Consular affairs”.

Please note: we do not certify German documents for use in Kenya.

Collection

If you would like to collect your passport or identity card and PIN letter, or a German birth certificate or a certificate in citizenship matters, please book an appointment in this category. This also applies if you have been asked to submit additional documents in your procedure or if you want to pay the fees for a document verification.
