#JamboEURO2024 Football Trickshots Competition

Get ready to showcase your skills with a football as we are thrilled to announce the #JamboEURO2024 Trick Shot Competition in celebration of EURO2024 taking place in Germany fro 14th June to the 14th July! We want to bring the excitement of this prestigious event to the Kenyan youth, and this competition is your chance to join in on the fun.
Format:
Kenyans until 16 years of age are invited to submit short videos, no longer than 30 seconds, showcasing their best football trickshots. Whether it's switching off the light with the ball or any other creative and funny trick, we want to see your skills! Simply upload your video on Instagram or Facebook, and don't forget to tag the Embassy's account @GermanyinKenya and to use the hashtag #JamboEURO2024. Don’t miss the deadline on May 22!
Judging Criteria:
Entries will be judged based on creativity, technical proficiency, and overall presentation by a panel of judges comprising representatives from the Embassy and Nation Media Group Let your imagination run wild and impress us with your unique trickshots!
Recognition and Awards:
The top submissions will be recognized and awarded during the Euro 2024 Kickoff Opening Night on June 14th. The first prize will be a jersey by the German football team signed by all players of the national team! Additionally, the first three winners will receive a football training session in Nairobi by former player Musa Otieno as a special recognition of their contribution.

Terms and conditions:
1. The trickshot Competition is open to all entrants 16yrs or younger resident in Kenya.
2. Entrants must submit their video by 11:59 pm (EAT) on 22 May 2024.
3. Participation in the competition is free of charge.
4. Only one film per entrant will be accepted.
5. Films cannot exceed 30 seconds.
6. Entries must show the person doing a trickshot with a football.
7. Videos must be posted on Instagram or Facebook, tagging the German Embassy (IG: @GermanyinKenya; FB: German Embassy Nairobi) and using the hashtag #JamboEURO2024
8. The work must not infringe the copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other personal or proprietary rights of any person or entity.
9. Any issue(s) that may arise due to the infringement of copyrights is the entrant’s sole responsibility. The Promoter will not be responsible for any infringement of copyrights.
10. Entrant is responsible for ensuring all relevant permits have been obtained when developing the film.
11. Entrant consents to grant free, non-exclusive, unlimited online use of work (e.g. and not limited to German Embassy’s social media channels on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or YouTube) submitted to the Promoter for non-commercial information and promotional purposes.
12. Entrant consents to grant free, non-exclusive public screening use of work (e.g. possible public showing of the video clips during events) submitted to the Promoter for non-commercial information and promotional purposes.
13. Entrant consents to grant free, non-exclusive use of work for publication on radio and TV program of selected media partners in connection with the competition to the Promoter for non-commercial information and promotional purposes.
14. Any entry that at the discretion of the Promoter is deemed to be defamatory or discriminatory will be disqualified. Moreover, the organizer also reserves the right to withdraw participants from the competition, if they violate the conditions of participation in general.
15. Entrant shall indemnify the Promoter from any third party claims, actions or proceedings of any kind and from any damages, liabilities and costs related to or arising out of breach of any of the agreements of entrant hereunder.
16. The Promoter will appoint a Jury for the selection of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Prize winners.

18. The prizes are graded as follows:
- First Place: A jersey of the German National Team signed by the Players + a private football training session by Musa Otieno in Nairobi
- Second Place: A private football training session by Musa Otieno in Nairobi
- Third Place: A private football training session by Musa Otieno in Nairobi
